12mm 7x19 Winch rope Strength

As standard, Rope Services Direct supply wire rope for winches with a tensile strength of 1960 N/mm² (Newtons per square millimetre). This is because they can endure more force than a 1770 N/mm² rope can, these are a softer rope.

The 12mm diameter makes it easier to handle when compared to a small diameter, although somewhat heavier. The construction of 7x19 gives the cable the right amount of flexibility for winding on the winches drum yet is strong enough to handle heavier loads.
