10mm Winch Cable Details

For reliable winching operations, choosing the right cable to match your winch can make all the difference. Our 10mm galvanized wire rope offers strength and flexibility, thus perfect for winding around a winch drum.

The flexibility comes from the specific rope construction, in this case its 7x19 (7 strands, each having 19 wires). The cable has been galvanized so the zinc coating will act as a barrier against moisture and other corrosive substances, thus suitable for use in a wide range of areas with differing environmental factors.

The standard tensile strength of 10mm cable we supply is 1960, making it reliable for medium-duty winching tasks. 1770 tensile strength rope is available on request should you need a softer rope.

Versatile End Terminations

Different applications require different connection methods, So we have ensured that this cable comes with a choice of end terminations to suit your specific needs. One end features a fused and tapered termination, which creates a clean connection to your winch. The opposite end can be customized with various termination options including just a thimbled eye for a structured anchor point or the thimble eye can be fitted with a shackle or a safety hook complete with sprung catch. If you require any other type of fitting then simply get in touch, we can usually help thanks to having our own rope workshop and press facilities.
