11mm Winch Cable - Premium Replacement Solution

Does your winch cable needs replacing?

Choosing the correct size and construction is important to ensure performance and safety. Our 11mm galvanized steel wire rope offers strength, versatility and is flexible for both manual and powered winches. Make sure the cable is the right diameter to fit your winch!

Construction and Strength

This 11mm winch cable has a 7x19 construction, meaning seven strands each containing nineteen individual wires. This configuration gives just the right amount of flexibility for winding on the winch drum. With a 1960 tensile strength rating your cable can handle loads with confidence. Suitable for heavier-duty tasks such as vehicle recovery or industrial lifting operations. 1770 strengths are available on request.

11mm Winch Rope Options

Available in lengths up to 30 metres, whether you need a shorter length for compact manual winches or maximum reach for large-scale operations, you can select the exact length required for your specific needs, thus eliminating waste and reducing costs.

The winch cable will be professionally terminated with a fuse and taper at one end to ensure the fitting process to your winch is easy, with no fraying wires. At the other end you will need to think about what type of connection point you need. The simplest and most popular option is to have a thimble eye termination where you can connect your other fittings and hardware to with ease or anchor it directly to a tow bar for example. The wire rope will be formed into a soft loop and a thimble will be added to give the eye strength and structure whilst reducing wear to the cable. The eye is secured with a rope ferrule under tons of pressure in an industrial press to ensure a strong and permanent anchor point.

During this process we can also add other fittings to the eye. A safety hook is a common choice but will be a permanent fitting and cannot be removed. A shackle on the other hand can be easily fitted and removed when required. If you need a bespoke option then give us a call on 01384 78004.
