The forestry industry is one the heaviest users of this rope construction. The 6x24 forestry rope incorporated a 7 wire/thread fibre core for optimum flexibility. Up to 32mm diameters can be ordered at Rope Services Direct.
The 6x24 rope has a range of uses within the forestry sector, perhaps to hold parts of a tree together, or to assist in hoisting a stump out of the ground and for logging chokers perhaps. For many of these heavy duty operations and applications, it can help to have reliable and specially designed equipment. For that, Rope Services Direct have the 6x24 forestry rope.

This particular rope has 6 strands, but with each strand containing 24 wires of strong and sturdy galvanized steel wire. The fibre core brings some great benefits to the forestry and arboriculture industries. Providing flexibility and shock load absorption this flexible rope would be a great asset when pulling/towing logs and trees.
Given the nature of the industry that this equipment operates in, it is likely to be subjected to the outside elements frequently.
For this reason, we can offer this equipment in a 6x24 galvanized version, which comes complete with a zinc coating, adding an extra layer of protection against the potentially harmful elements.
