About the Single Eye Cable Sock

You can choose light to medium duty single eye cable socks in galvanized steel or stainless steel, both of which will offer a good amount of corrosion resistance. The stainless steel socks have a lower minimum breaking load rating on average, which is worth bearing in mind. Limits range from 610kg to 5690kg, the galvanized option you see hers starts at 6-13mm diameters with a breaking strength at approximately 760kg; at the top end with diameters of 115-140mm the breaking load is 7,110kg.

The smaller diameters are single weave whilst the larger diameters are double weave for extra strength.
