Delta DY Chain Block Features

The Delta DY chain block has many great features rivalling other top brands.

• Bright yellow casing for easy visibility, the double casing provides optimum protection to internal components.
• Drop forged swivel hooks with cast safety catches and overload indicator marks. (measure regularly).
• Galvanised hand and load chain to EN818-7-T.
• Machine precision chain sprocket, shaft and gears as well as high quality transmission bearings for smooth operation.
• Automatic load brake with two friction discs and pawls ensures the load is always held.
• Operational temperature range from minus 10 to plus 60 degrees Celsius.

Our other Chain Blocks

Rope Services Direct has a couple of chain block options for comparison available. These include the Yale 360 manual chain block and the GT Viper chain block. Both options come in the same standard lifting capacities, however the Yale model extends up to 20000kg and the Viper up to 30000kg on request.

The Delta model is the cheapest option and the Yale models are the most expensive with the Viper sitting in-between.
