Ideal for a more semi-permanent connection and/or more long term lifting operation the British Standard Large Dee Shackle safety bolt type is manufactured to BS3032 standards.
About the British Standard Large Dee Shackle safety bolt type
Only to be used for inline operations with no side pull these shackles offer a safer alternative to the standard screw pin large dee shackles. Once the safety bolt is fixed into place a cotter pin is inserted through the nut to ensure the bolt cannot come out. They may not be quite as quick to use as a screw type pin but are much safer and so perfect for long term use in one place.

Providing excellent safe connections these large dee shackles also have a 5 x WLL minimum breaking load safety factor so you can be assured of safe lifting within the stated working load limits; these should never be exceeded.
