Constructed from galvanized wire rope strands, this 7mm diameter rope is one of several different options in our 7x7 rope range which includes examples of between 1mm and 12mm thick. 7mm 7x7 Galvanized Wire Rope has excellent anti-corrosion properties as well as a sturdy wire core for added strength.
Wire rope which has been put through the process of galvanization is the most suitable choice for any application in which contact with moisture is unavoidable. This might be outdoors at a dock, as part of a waste treatment facility, as rigging on a ship or in a balustrade assembly, to name but a few examples. This 7mm 7x7 galvanised rope will resist rust’s arrival for longer than if it had not been treated.
