3 leg web sling – a versatile multi-leg lifting sling

Three leg multi leg slings are normally in stock at our base near Dudley, and are ready to purchase . These slings consist of a single upper eye or master link that branches into three separate legs, each ending in a fitting that connects to the load. 

Three leg webbing slings can often apply better load stability than a two leg sling and can help to prevent tilting. Four leg slings are probably even better. Proper use requires spreading the three legs evenly around the load at equal angles. The sling angle may affect lifting capacity for example steeper angles will reduce the safe working load. This is consistent across any type of lifting sling so always consult the correct lifting charts to confirm.

When it comes to multi-leg slings, the top priority is safety. Therefore, each one is thoroughly tested and a pass certificate issued for complete reassurance. 

Notably, it is often hard to decide what the optimum lifting limit is for safety for this type of webbing sling as they are often uniquely designed. With this in mind, we strongly suggest you speak to us prior to placing your order.
