Stainless steel simplex Wire rope grips– resilient and strong

Stainless simples wire rope grips are manufactured to AISI 316, which is a recognised marine grade standard. The polished finish provides a more aesthetically pleasing look and has amazing corrosion protection from salt water and harsh weather conditions. These grips work with between 2 mm and 6 mm in diameter sized wire ropes.

Zinc Plated Simplex Rope Grips

Also available at Rope Services Direct are mild steel, zinc plated simplex grips. Whilst not quite as durable as the stainless option the zinc coating offers decent protection against rust and oxidation. Also available to suit wire ropes with diameters of 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm & 6mm.

Using a Simplex Rope Clamp

Simplex rope clamps are made to work in a range jobs. They are ideal for creating a loop or an eye in your rope for easy connections/anchoring. Depending on how you are to use your rope assembly a steel thimble can be added as you form the loop. This will add rigidity to the eye whilst also protecting the rope around the eye from wear.

As with most other types of wire rope grips and clamps this type can just as easily be used to join two ropes together temporarily.

Ideal for light to medium duty tasks such as decorative rope installations, guy wires, creating an eye for anchoring, securing cables, light suspension systems and more. A simple spanner / wrench of the correct size is all you will need to ensure the gasket / back plate is tightly fitted to secure your rope.
