The load limit offered by this particular wire rope product is 1,328kg; a decent amount given that it is just half a centimetre thick. Factor in the 13.03kN breaking strength and you should be able to quickly conclude whether this is the right rope for you.
Because the 6x7 steel strands of this rope are protected by an external plastic coating, it will cause less abrasion during use and will also be shielded from wear and tear, both due to friction and corrosion.
The 6x7 plastic coated rope range features diameters of between 2mm and 6mm, so you do not have to stay with this 5mm example but can instead base your choice on your own requirements.
