Security Cable Assemblies - Construction

Made from galvanized steel wire rope in a 7x19 construction to provide strength and flexibility. Each cable is terminated with a soft eye at each end which we form with a steel ferrule to secure the loop. The ferrule is fitted using an industrial press machine under immense force, so once its fitted, its permanent.

The entire cable and eyes are coated with PVC as standard, however if you would like the eyes uncoated or perhaps with a thimble eye added we can do this as a customised assembly – contact us if you would like this option.

Security Cable Sizes Available

Our standard sizes are available in 3 diameters and 9 lengths, however, as we have our own facilities we can custom make a security cable assembly to suit your requirements.

The cable diameters are 6mm, 8mm and 10mm, however due to the PVC coating the final diameter will be a little larger, coming in at 8, 10 and 12mm respectively, so in our options you will see them listed as 6mm/8mm; 8mm/10mm & 10mm/12mm.

1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5 & 5 metre cable lengths are our standard offerings but again should you need anything different then please get in touch to get a quote for a custom security cable assembly.

Security Cable Coating

Our security cable assemblies are fully coated in PVC or Poly vinyl chloride, this is a synthetic (man made) plastic polymer widely used in everything from pipe construction, window frames, cable insulation/protection and even clothing, its limits are endless.

Our PVC coating is offered in black or clear options and provides protection to the cable itself as well as the object your are securing; for example it won't scratch your wheels.
