Step right up and take a look at one of the many variants that exist within our 6×36 stainless steel wire rope family. With a diameter of 36mm, this 36mm 6×36 stainless steel wire rope has a hefty working load limit and a duo of cores to select.
A Question of Cores
You might assume that most wire rope comes with a core made of the same material as the exterior strands. In the case of this stainless steel product, this is not necessarily the case.
With its fibre core, a load limit of 68,446kg is imposed on this 36mm 6×36 rope. With an independent steel wire core, this increases to 73,839kg.
Your needs in terms of WLL and flexibility will determine which type is right for you. Fibre is obviously the weaker of the two, but is also more malleable, which will seal the deal for some customers.

In the case of both cores, the primary use of stainless steel means that each rope will not corrode when water enters into the equation. For marine use, as well as for general outdoor lifting or even specific sewerage deployments, this will be a key selling point.
