6×36 Fibre core galvanised steel wire rope – The all-purpose wire rope

6x36 fibre core galvanised steel wire ropeThe 6 x 36 fibre core rope is made up of 6 strands, with 36 wires per strand. This gives the rope a far greater fatigue resistance than 6×19 or 6×24 constructions.

6 x 36 fibre core rope is a high strength rope with consistent bending fatigue performance. It can be used for a wide range of applications such as general crane ropes, hoist ropes, winch ropes and other general engineering applications. The most popular diameters of 6 x 36 wire rope range from 8 mm to 36 mm and due to the ropes unique construction it maintains its flexibility at much wider diameters than other constructions. 6mm up to 52mm diameter 6×36 fibre core galvanised wire rope 6x36galvanised wire ropes are also available.

This steel rope has an equal lay construction with excellent breaking load qualities. The fibre rope core or centre of this rope is what gives it its flexibility and therefore suitability to particular applications. The 6×36 fibre core wire-rope is used in many types of operations that use:- W.R slings, crane ropes, hoist ropes, tow ropes, mooring ropes etc. This steel rope is available in diameters from 8mm-44mm in any length you require.
