The 7x19 is used in general engineering applications, especially stainless steel wire rope slings, the marine industry, sewage works and for davit ropes, rigging and steering cables. Available from 3mm – 16mm diameters.


7x7 Strand Stainless Steel Wire Rope7x7 Strand Stainless Steel Wire Rope Diagram The 7x7 strand stainless steel wire rope is more flexible than the 1x19 but more rigid than the 7x19. This stainless steel wire rope is often used where the 1x19 lacks enough flexibility or the 7x19’s weaker breaking load is too low. The 7x7’s smaller diameters make it a favourite control cable and is used in the marine, sewage and engineering industries. Some other uses include :- davit ropes,wire rope slings, running rigging, steering cables and guard rails. Available from 3mm – 12mm diameters.
