Please find below some details of our most commonly requested accessories for wire ropes, we can supply many different variations of wire rope end fittings, from the basic thimbles, through to architectural fittings, so if you can't find what you are looking for then please give us a call, where our team are ready to help.
THIMBLES:
Thimbles are often used in the end loop of a wire rope to protect the wires. There are ordinary thimbles and solid thimbles. They come in various sizes, as well as stainless steel.
Ordinary Solid
SOCKETS:
Sockets come in a variety of options, open sockets,closed sockets, open and closed spelter sockets, open and closed sockets, Wedge sockets and button spelter sockets.
These sockets can be used to secure wire rope to a fixed point to which the socket will be connected. Often used as an anchoring system in many different applications such as tow cables, anchor cables on oil platforms, bridges and roof construction etc.

TURN BUCKLES AND RIGGING SCREWS:
Rigging screws and turn buckles are used for the tensioning of wire ropes, especially in rigging applications. Rigging screws / turn buckles come with a variety of fittings for each end to suit your particular application, eye such as eye +eye, eye + hook, jaw + jaw, Hook + jaw, etc.
Often used on bridges, balustrading, staircases, hanging shelves, and many other applications where the tension of the wire rope is of the upmost importance.
